A bit about our history

Lighting Australia entered the Australian and New Zealand lighting market in 1980 with a commitment to Australian lighting manufacture. Initially a father and son team, Tom and Peter Killingsworth - soon joined by younger son, Andrew - saw a need for quality, modern components that could boost local manufacturers' efficiency and competitiveness.

Tapping into strong experience and knowledge of the Australian lighting and manufacturing industry, Lighting Australia steadily grew its product range and team from a small office in Epping, NSW to the integrated warehouse premises now enjoyed in Regents Park, Sydney.
